Backend Developer - Node JS/ TypeScript / React / AWS

Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on Node.js and TypeScript backend development experience to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate must be backend-strong while also having solid experience with React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, AWS cloud services, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Node.js + TypeScript: Minimum 5 years of hands-on backend development experience. TypeScript is mandatory.
• React.js / Next.js: Strong frontend development experience.
• PostgreSQL: Database design, complex queries, indexing, and performance optimization.
• AWS: Hands-on experience with Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Cognito, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• REST APIs: Design, development, integration, and documentation.
• CI/CD: AWS CDK, GitHub Actions, and infrastructure as code.
• Testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and unit/integration testing.
• Architecture: Microservices, serverless architecture, system design, and production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Develop frontend applications using React and Next.js.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using AWS CDK and GitHub Actions.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection.
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain code quality.
• Participate in system design, code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering leads, product managers, and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Node.js and TypeScript backend development.
• Strong React/Next.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS experience.
• Experience delivering applications through complete SDLC and production releases.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and technical collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools.
• Enterprise application development and consulting experience.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability.
