Summary: The Back Up/Data Protection Engineer role requires a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in backup technologies and system administration. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer backup technologies and system administration tasks.
  • Oversee hands-on operations with PPDM, Avamar, and Data Domain, including DDBoost and code upgrades.
  • Administer VMware ESXi, Windows/Linux servers, and SQL cluster environments.
  • Ensure a strong understanding of NFS, CIFS, iSCSI protocols, and enterprise storage systems.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, data center networking infrastructure, and public cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and FSxN is a plus.
