Summary: As a Back-End Engineer at fyaora LABS, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the core back-end services of an innovative on-demand cleaning services platform. Your role will involve architecting and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with front-end and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability and performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a pre-revenue startup and gain co-ownership of a disruptive product in the cleaning industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable back-end services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway).
  • Implement real-time features such as instant notifications using RabbitMQ.
  • Automate payment processing via Stripe.js and integrate financial tools like Plaid.
  • Ensure secure API communication with JWT authentication, integrated with Auth0 or Firebase Authentication.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers working with ReactJS to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability for a growing user base.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.
  • Document and test APIs using Postman and Swagger.
  • Monitor system performance and security using AWS CloudWatch and Sentry.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot for back-end development.
  • Expertise with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, SES, and CloudFront.
  • Experience implementing real-time communication using RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of Stripe.js for payment processing and Plaid for financial integration.
  • Proficiency in JWT, Auth0, or Firebase Authentication for secure API integration.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS EKS for containerization and orchestration.
