Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build back-end infrastructure that is scalable, secure, and reliable
- Develop and maintain APIs (RESTful/GraphQL) to connect mobile and web clients
- Implement business logic and complex workflows using Java + Spring Boot
- Integrate third-party services like Stripe.js for payment processing
- Manage and optimize databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Leverage AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) to ensure efficiency and scalability
- Implement best practices for security, compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and performance optimization
- Collaborate with front-end, mobile, and product teams to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences
- Define and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployments
- Write tests, debug issues, and document system architecture

The Role We’re looking for a Back-End Engineer with strong expertise in designing secure, scalable systems and an entrepreneurial drive to help build a company from the ground up. As a founding engineer, you’ll architect core server-side logic, APIs, and integrations while ensuring performance, reliability, and security across our platform. You’ll also help shape the technical roadmap as we scale post-launch. This isn’t just about coding, it’s about building the backbone of a company.
