Summary: The role of Backend Developer involves working with a leading consultancy on a significant programme within the payments sector. The position requires strong expertise in C#, .NET, and Azure, focusing on delivering scalable, cloud-native services. Candidates should have a background in banking or financial services and be comfortable in agile environments. This is a remote-first role for a duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable, cloud-native services using C# and .NET.
  • Work within Azure cloud environments.
  • Implement microservices and distributed systems.
  • Utilize AKS, Service Bus, and APIM.
  • Manage SQL and data modelling tasks.
  • Apply hands-on experience with Terraform.
  • Engage with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
  • Collaborate within fast-paced, agile delivery teams.

  • Strong backend development experience with C# / .NET.

Backend Developer (C# / .NET / Azure) £575–£600/day (Inside IR35) 6 Months / Remote-first Working with a leading consultancy engaged on a major programme within a payments organisation , we’re looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join a high-performing engineering team delivering scalable, cloud-native services. We require applicants to have a background within banking, financial services/payments.
