Azure Solution Architect

Summary: The Azure Solution Architect role focuses on leading a squad for a Data Center Exit project involving Azure cloud migration. The position requires significant experience in data center obsolescence programs and the ability to manage fast-paced assessments and migrations. The ideal candidate will engage with business stakeholders and possess a strong understanding of cloud architectures. This role is primarily remote with occasional client site visits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in a Data Center Exit & Obsolescence Programme.
• Lead and support a team in discovery and assessment using a 7R's approach.
• Conduct and lead meetings with business application owners and stakeholders.
• Make quick determinations for treatment planning.
• Implement a re-host then re-architect approach (Lift and Shift).
• Engage in business stakeholder interactions to reverse engineer application/system architecture.
• Migrate applications to Azure and understand cloud architectures and capabilities.
• Operate under significant pace and pressure to meet deadlines.
• Utilize a mix of Infrastructure Application Security experience.

• Experience in Data Center Exit & Obsolescence Programme.
