Azure Service Engineer

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience designing, developing, and implementing Azure cloud solutions and enterprise application integrations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps for developing cloud-native applications.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing API integrations using Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management.
• Hands-on experience customizing and developing Dynamics 365 solutions using the Dynamics 365 SDK, C#, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience implementing secure application development practices using Azure Key Vault.
• Experience managing identities, authentication, and access roles using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
• Experience monitoring application performance and system reliability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate, is preferred.
• Experience developing Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls is preferred.
• Understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
• Knowledge of OData endpoints and FetchXML for data retrieval within Dynamics 365 is preferred.
• Experience utilizing RESTful services and JSON for data exchange is preferred.
• Experience migrating legacy systems to Azure cloud infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are required to work effectively with business analysts, functional consultants, engineering teams, and key stakeholders.

Project Scope and Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-native applications that connect enterprise applications with Azure infrastructure.
• Build and maintain applications and integrations using Azure Functions and Azure Logic Apps.
• Develop robust API integrations using Azure Service Bus and Azure API Management.
• Design, develop, and customize Dynamics 365 solutions using the Dynamics 365 SDK, C#, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Implement secure application development practices and manage application secrets and credentials using Azure Key Vault.
• Configure and manage identities, authentication, and access roles using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
• Monitor application performance, availability, and reliability using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, engineering leadership, and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop integrations using RESTful services and JSON to facilitate reliable data exchange between enterprise applications.
• Utilize OData endpoints and FetchXML for data retrieval and integration within Dynamics 365.
• Support Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated and reliable application deployments.
• Develop and support Power Apps, Power Automate, and PCF controls as required.
• Contribute to the migration of legacy systems and applications to Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and cloud infrastructure issues to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable system performance.
