Azure Senior Systems Engineer
Summary: The Azure Senior Systems Engineer is a proactive and self-motivated professional responsible for ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency within the Mortgage LOS environment. This role involves troubleshooting infrastructure issues, contributing to API integrations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to align infrastructure solutions with business needs. The ideal candidate possesses strong engineering judgment and a solid background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD practices. They will leverage their expertise in Azure Cloud services to enhance system performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure system performance and efficiency by diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues.
- Contribute to API integrations and deployment pipelines within the Mortgage LOS.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to align infrastructure solutions with business needs.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to maintain optimal system performance.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience delivering systems to production with a strong IaC background.
- 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and infrastructure automation.
- Experience with OAuth2, SSO, and modern authentication flows.
- Deep expertise in Azure Cloud services and proficiency with Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, and Azure Bicep.
- Strong skills related to integration testing and secure deployment practices.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash.
- Proficient in systematic debugging and pipeline automation.
- Skilled in Test-Driven Development (unit, integration, and performance testing).
- Experience with infrastructure systems like Azure PaaS/IaaS, AD, IIS, Windows/Linux servers.
