Key Responsibilities:
- Work as an Azure Platform Engineer on a business-critical program.
- Utilize Azure API Management for mobile back-end integrations.
- Manage and support production-grade AKS clusters.
- Implement Azure networking solutions including VNets and load balancers.
- Utilize observability tools for monitoring and performance.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an Azure Platform Engineer.
- Active NPPV3 and SC clearance.
- Strong background in Azure API Management.

I am currently working with a leading consultancy who are looking for an NPPV3 and SC cleared Azure Platform Engineer to join a business critical programme for an end client
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working as an Azure Platform Engineer.
- Active NPPV3 and SC clearance.
- Strong background in Azure API Management, particularly for mobile-Back End integrations.
- Hands-on experience with AKS, Azure Functions, Event Grid, and Service Bus.
- Solid understanding of Azure networking, including VNets, private endpoints, Application Gateway, WAF, and load balancers.
- Strong knowledge of Azure AD, Managed Identities, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
- Proven experience with Docker and containerized workloads.
- Experience managing and supporting production-grade AKS clusters.
- Good working knowledge of Helm, Kustomize, or similar tooling.
- Understanding of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd, OSM).
- Practical experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Azure Monitor.
Nice to have:
- Experience integrating mobile applications with cloud-native backends
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
- Familiarity with zero-trust architecture principles
- Background in performance tuning or cost-optimised cloud design
