Azure Kubernetes (AKS) Administrator

Summary: The Azure Kubernetes (AKS) Administrator role is a 100% remote position focused on installing, configuring, and managing Kubernetes clusters in Azure. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on experience in cluster setup, containerization, and cloud-native operations, along with a solid understanding of DevOps practices. This position is expected to last for 6 months and requires expertise in various technical areas related to Azure and Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters
• Set up Kubernetes environments from scratch, including networking, node pools, and ACR integration
• Deploy applications using Docker, Helm charts, and Kubernetes manifests
• Manage cluster operations including scaling, upgrades, and patching
• Configure ingress controllers, monitoring tools, and security settings
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
• Monitor and troubleshoot cluster performance, availability, and issues
• Ensure security best practices (RBAC, network policies, Key Vault integration)
• Solid understanding of Linux and scripting (Bash/Python/PowerShell)
