Summary: The Azure DevOps Engineer role is a fully remote, outside IR35 contract position with a leading global manufacturing company. The engineer will work on global projects, implementing modern DevOps practices while supporting both cloud-native and legacy applications. The position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Candidates should possess a balance of technical depth and a big-picture perspective, along with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement infrastructure and processes for cloud-native and Legacy applications.
  • Build, configure, and enhance automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Improve monitoring, alerting, and application stability.
  • Create and review technical documentation and procedures.
  • Support operational tasks including change management and application monitoring.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to project management through accurate estimations and milestone delivery.
  • Share insights and propose improvements to processes and technology.

Key Skills:

  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure (other cloud experience beneficial).
  • Background in Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps/DevSecOps.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C#, Python, Go).
  • Advanced knowledge of DevOps toolchains including Docker, Terraform, Git, Azure Git, Helm, Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Experience introducing DevOps processes and tools that deliver measurable business value.
  • Strong knowledge of source control, test automation and distributed team collaboration.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Salary (Rate): £525 daily

Azure DevOps Engineer - Outside IR35 Contract

  • Location: Fully Remote (UK-based applicants preferred)

  • Contract: 12 months

  • Rate: €600-€625 per day (Outside IR35)

We are working with a leading global manufacturing company who are seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to work on global projects, implementing modern DevOps practices and supporting both cloud-native and Legacy applications in a highly collaborative environment.

What We're Looking For

You will be a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps professional who can balance technical depth with a big-picture perspective. Strong communication skills and the ability to contribute to, or lead, global initiatives are essential.

Key skills and experience include:

  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Azure (other cloud experience beneficial).
