Summary: The role is for an Azure DevOps engineer to join a consultancy on a contracting basis for a duration of 6 months. The position requires SC eligibility and offers a daily rate of £400. The role is classified as inside IR35 and is remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain cloud platforms, specifically Azure.
  • Handle cloud skills including VM's, Storage (SQL, Curated Database), Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Private endpoints), IAM, and Data factory setup.
  • Utilize programming/scripting/config management tools such as Ansible, Python, and Bash/Shell.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform and ARM templates.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Azure DevOps.
  • Work with containers, specifically Docker/Podman, to build secure images.
  • Monitor and log using Azure monitoring tools.

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in VM's, Storage, Networking, IAM, and Data factory.
  • Knowledge of Ansible, Python, and Bash/Shell for scripting and configuration management.
  • Familiarity with Terraform and ARM templates for IAC.
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of containerization with Docker/Podman.
  • Ability to monitor and log using Azure monitoring tools.
