Summary: The Azure DevOps Engineer role is a 12-month fixed-term contract focused on implementing and supporting Azure infrastructure for a leading IT consultancy. The position requires strong expertise in Azure, Terraform, and security practices, along with valid SC Clearance. This is a fully remote role with occasional travel to customer sites in the Midlands. The engineer will be responsible for continuous service improvement and security enforcement within the Azure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Azure Infrastructure Implementation & Support
• Deploy and manage Azure networking (DNS, Firewalls, Routing, VNets, Peering)
• Oversee Identity & Access Management
• Monitor environments using Elastic and Log Analytics
• Manage infrastructure via Azure Portal, Terraform, and Azure DevOps
• Enforce security and configuration policies

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in Azure infrastructure engineering
• Strong knowledge of networking, identity & access management, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, and monitoring tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and security operations
