Summary: The Azure DevOps Engineer role is a 12-month fixed-term contract focused on implementing and managing Azure infrastructure for a leading IT consultancy. The position requires strong expertise in Azure, Terraform, and security practices, along with valid SC Clearance. This fully remote role involves occasional travel to customer sites in the Midlands. The engineer will take ownership of infrastructure implementation, security, and continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Azure Infrastructure Implementation & Support
• Deploy and manage Azure networking (DNS, Firewalls, Routing, VNets, Peering)
• Oversee Identity & Access Management
• Monitor environments using Elastic and Log Analytics
• Manage infrastructure via Azure Portal, Terraform, and Azure DevOps
• Enforce security and configuration policies.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in Azure infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking, identity & access management, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, and monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and security operations.
