We are supporting a major client in hiring an Azure Developer to join a well-established, long-running programme replacing Legacy technology with a brand-new system, as part of a financial crime management workstream.
This is a hands-on cloud-native development role, working alongside architects and DevOps engineers to develop, refactor and re-platform applications on Azure. The successful candidates will contribute to scalable, secure solutions, building APIs and integrating third-party services as part of a genuine, large-scale technology modernisation effort.
This role suits an experienced Azure Developer comfortable joining an in-flight programme and contributing from day one. Experience within financial services is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-native applications using Azure App Services, Functions and Logic Apps
- Refactor and re-platform Legacy applications for Azure
- Collaborate with architects and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless deployment and scalability
- Build APIs and integrate third-party services using Azure API Management
- Write clean, maintainable and scalable code adhering to best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in cloud applications and services
Essential Skills
- Solid experience with Azure PaaS offerings, including App Services, Functions and Logic Apps
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL and Azure DevOps
- Experience developing, deploying and maintaining cloud-native applications on Azure
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies to drive efficient collaboration and speed to delivery
