Summary: The Azure Data Architect-Microsoft Fabric role is a fully remote contract position requiring a consultant with extensive experience in Azure architecture, data management, and Power BI. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The position is expected to last for 4-6 weeks, tentatively starting from August 1st. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the single point of contact for the client for technical delivery.
- Design and develop a robust data architecture that supports the organization's data needs.
- Define data architecture framework components including integration, data management, and data consumption.
- Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure data integrity and consistency.
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.
- Design and implement data integration solutions for ETL processes.
- Leverage Azure and Fabric services to build scalable data solutions.
- Optimize data queries and ETL processes for efficient data access.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Clarify requirements and proactively address any assumptions.
- Work flexibly with teams in different time zones.
- Be self-motivated and accountable for work and deadlines.
- Set implementation paths for projects and perform effort estimations.
- Conduct customer demos.
