Summary: The Azure Data Architect-Microsoft Fabric role involves designing and developing robust data architectures to meet organizational data needs, including data lakes and warehouses. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring data governance and quality. The candidate will also be responsible for optimizing data processes and providing technical delivery as the primary contact for clients. This is a contract position with a focus on leveraging Azure and Microsoft Fabric services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of contact for the client for technical delivery.
  • Design and develop a robust data architecture that supports the organization's data needs, including data lake and data warehouse components.
  • Define Data Architecture framework components: Integration, Data Management, and Data Consumption.
  • Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure data integrity and consistency.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to maintain data quality and security.
  • Design and implement data integration solutions to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data lake and data warehouse.
  • Leverage Azure and Fabric services to build scalable and cost-effective data solutions.
  • Optimize data queries and ETL processes to ensure efficient data access and analysis.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Proactively clarify any doubts/assumptions regarding requirements.
  • Work flexibly with team members in India, adhering to IST timezone.
  • Be self-motivated and passionate about becoming a technology expert.

  • Familiarity with both batch and real-time data processing.
