Summary: The role of Azure Conditional Access Consultant involves modernizing and automating the management of approximately 70 existing Conditional Access Policies within a Microsoft Azure environment. The consultant will collaborate with key stakeholders to deliver an automation solution using PowerShell scripts, following a signed-off design document. The position requires strong technical skills in Azure AD/Entra ID, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps. This role is classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and assess the existing Conditional Access Policies
- Implement a streamlined, scalable CA policy framework
- Develop automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph Cmdlets
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines to automate:
- Deployment of new CA policies
- Modifications and deletions of existing policies
- Management of Named Locations
- Ensure automated deployments, version control, and policy logging
- Implement role-based access controls and verification mechanisms
Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Azure AD/Entra ID Conditional Access Policies
- Advanced PowerShell Scripting experience
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph API/Cmdlets
- Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps automation pipelines

We're seeking an experienced Azure Conditional Access Consultant to modernise and automate the management of ~70 existing Conditional Access Policies (CAP) within a Microsoft Azure environment. The design (HLD) solution document has been completed and signed off, and we are looking for a consultant to work with the customer's key stakeholders to deliver the CAP automation solution, using PowerShell scripts.
