Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure to support the design, configuration, and management of cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role will focus on core Azure services such as Azure Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault (including customer-managed keys), and other foundational components. The ideal candidate will bring a security-first mindset to ensure that cloud implementations follow best practices and align with organizational governance standards. Experience with cloud security posture management tools like Wiz is highly desirable. Azure certifications are a strong plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:
Design, implement, and manage Azure services including Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, and related networking components.
Configure and support customer-managed keys (CMK) and other encryption services in a secure and compliant manner.
Apply security-first principles to infrastructure design, with focus on hardening configurations, identity & access control, and data protection.
Work closely with Security, DevOps, and Architecture teams to support secure and scalable solutions.
Partner with application and platform teams to deliver Azure solutions that meet availability, performance, and security requirements.
Use monitoring, logging, and governance tools to ensure operational health and compliance of cloud environments.
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
Stay current on Azure best practices and cloud security trends
QUALIFICATIONS:
Hands-on experience with core Azure services (Service Bus, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, etc.).
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and experience implementing secure configurations.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) is a plus.
Experience with security tools like Wiz or other CSPM platforms is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305) are a plus.
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
