Azure Cloud Consultant

Summary: The Azure Cloud Consultant role is a remote position focused on leveraging Azure Core Infrastructure and Services, including network connectivity, security, automation, and Azure Virtual Desktop. The consultant will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud solutions and managing migrations from on-premises environments. This position requires a strong understanding of Azure technologies and best practices. The role is expected to last for over 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Azure Core Infrastructure & Services including Compute, Storage, and Data Platforms.
• Manage network and hybrid connectivity, ensuring secure on-prem to cloud connections.
• Oversee security, identity management, compliance, and governance within Azure environments.
• Utilize automation and DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible.
• Build and manage Azure Virtual Desktop environments and plan migrations from on-prem VDI to AVD.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in Azure Core Infrastructure & Services.
• Experience with network and hybrid connectivity solutions.
• Knowledge of security, identity management, and governance in Azure.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and GitHub.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and migration strategies.
