Summary: The role of Azure Cloud Architect involves advising clients on their migration journey to Azure, assessing existing infrastructure, and developing enterprise-scale solutions. The architect will lead architectural discussions, design innovative solutions, and ensure best practices are followed during the migration process. This position requires extensive experience in Azure and cloud operations, with a focus on client engagement and collaboration. The role is remote but requires occasional in-person meetings in Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise customers on the end-to-end journey to Azure.
- Assess on-premises infrastructure landscape and recommend migration strategies.
- Develop complex, enterprise-scale solutions for Azure migration.
- Lead architectural discussions and design workshops with clients.
- Provide solutions for critical issues identified during migration.
- Design and develop innovative, optimization, and automation solutions for Azure.
Key Skills:
- 10-15 years of total experience, with 5+ years in Azure and 3 years as an Architect.
- Experience in building Accelerators, frameworks, and IPs for Cloud.
- CI/CD experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and IAC tools (Terraform/Cloudformation/ARM templates).
- Expertise in Azure services such as Web Apps, Logic Apps, and API Gateway.
- Experience in assessment, dependency mapping, and migration planning.
- Proficiency in cloud operations, governance, compliance, and security.
- Advanced level Certification [AZ-303 & AZ-304] on Azure.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
