Azure Architect

Description

Our Global Service Provider are looking to onboard an Azure Architect to support an end client with an Azure Migration. This is specialist skillsets to ensure a safe, secure, organized, and effective migration of one Application to Azure Cloud. The successful candidate must have a solid background of migrations, be comfortable driving programmes forward, be available for cutover periods (as yet undefined whether this is during the working day, evenings, or weekends)

This is an initial 4 month contract working fully remote and INSIDE IR35.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

Extensive Experience delivering Azure cloud migration programmes.

Proven Experience as Lead Technical Architect on complex enterprise transformation initiatives.

Experience within highly regulated or mission-critical environments.

Strong understanding of:

o Azure Architecture

o Networking

o Identity and Access Management

o Security Architecture

o Business Continuity Planning

Experience governing technical delivery across multiple stakeholder groups.

Ability to engage credibly with senior client stakeholders and hyperscaler partners.

Desirable

Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification.

TOGAF certification.

Experience of application migration from on-premise data centres to Azure.

Understanding of operational service transition and support model design.

Documented migration strategy and technical roadmap.

Reduced migration risk through early validation and governance.

Successful migration of the NHSBT Blood Bank Management Application to Azure.

Implementation of a resilient, secure, supportable cloud platform.

Assured operational readiness and service transition.

Successful technical acceptance of the migrated service.

Rate/Salary:: 650.00 - 750.00 GBP Daily
