Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design and implementation of Azure application landing zones.
- Manage all aspects of security, identity access management, and networking.
- Work on cloud-to-cloud integrations, data centers, and third-party services.
- Utilize strong access management and Azure fundamentals.
- Implement CI/CD, DevOps, and IaaS practices.
- Demonstrate knowledge of containerization technologies (K8s, AKS).
- Engage in client-facing roles and manage stakeholder relationships.
Key Skills:
- Proven commercial track record designing and implementing Azure landing zones and platforms from scratch.
- Experience with cloud-to-cloud solutions and data centers.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking and security.
- Expertise in identity and access management.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and low-code solutions.

- Consulting experience and a hands-on background.

This is a fantastic long term hands on Azure Architect contract opportunity with a leading tech company.
The Azure Architect contract is Fully Remote (UK) with occasional EU travel (paid) as required.
The Azure Architect contract is Outside IR35
The initial contract will be around 6 months the project will be 2+ years so multiple extension on offer.
As Azure Architect you will oversee the design and implementation of Azure application landing zones, covering all aspects including Security, IAM and Networking. Experience as an Azure Architect working on cloud to cloud, data centres and 3rd parties is essential. Very strong access management and Azure fundamentals are essential as hands on Azure Architect as are CI/CD, DevOps and IaaS. The Azure Architect also needs strong containerisation knowledge (K&S, AKS, etc), Purview, EntraID and excellent client facing and stakeholder management skills. Mendix Cloud experience is desirable as Azure Architect as are Azure or other Cloud certifications.
