Summary: The AWS Solution Architect role at Coforge involves supporting a large application migration project, focusing on transitioning applications from an inherited infrastructure to PMI's standards. The position requires collaboration with various teams to establish system landscapes and create solution architecture deliverables. Candidates should possess extensive experience in solution architecture across both cloud and on-premises environments. Immediate joiners are preferred for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish an accurate view of the existing system landscape by identifying all existing application components and their sizing in collaboration with PMI teams and vendors.
• Create solution architecture deliverables that describe the as-is and to-be state using PMI standard architecture tooling and templates.
• Ensure designs align with PMI standards, working across a large set of applications (20+), as well as with infrastructure hosting and security teams.

Key Skills:

• 5 years of experience in creating solution architecture for a varied set of applications (custom coded and commercial off-the-shelf), on-premises (VMware) and cloud (AWS and Azure) hosting services.
• Knowledge of database management services, backup & restore processes, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security.
• Strong networking skills, including experience with network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies, particularly VMware.
• Experience working in factory environments, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of such settings.
• Desired cloud certifications: AWS Solution Architect.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with many stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment with diverse teams across multiple time zones.
