Summary: The AWS Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions to facilitate the migration of GoldEsp data to AWS and the development of data products. This role requires alignment with the customer's cloud strategy and governance while ensuring performance requirements are met. The architect will engage with stakeholders to define requirements and create documentation for implemented solutions. The position is a contract role with a focus on cloud architecture and data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Architect end-to-end AWS solutions, including data pipelines, storage, and analytics platforms (Redshift, S3, Glue).
- Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of GoldEsp data to AWS, ensuring data integrity, security, and scalability.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure solutions comply with security, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Automation: Design CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and monitoring.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and analytics teams to define requirements and high-value use cases.
- Documentation: Create architecture diagrams, ICDs, and runbooks for implemented solutions.
Key Skills:
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services (Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).
- Architecture Design: Proficiency in designing scalable and secure cloud architectures.
- Automation: Experience with CI/CD tools (Terraform, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
- Data Integration: Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
