Summary: The AWS Security Platform Engineer role involves designing, building, and enhancing AWS security services for a leading UK client. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and improve AWS security services including AWS Landing Zones, IAM Roles, and Least Privilege Access.
- Detect and mitigate cloud misconfigurations, threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Operate and continuously enhance AWS-native security services such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, AWS Config, Inspector, and WAF.
Key Skills:
- Experience with IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Config, CloudTrail, KMS, and WAF.
- Knowledge of AWS identity design, including least privilege, roles, SCPs, permission boundaries, and cross-account access.
- Familiarity with AWS Landing Zones, guardrails, and baseline configurations.
- Proficiency in Terraform or CloudFormation.

I have partnered with a leading UK client who are looking for an AWS Security Platform Engineer to support on designing, building and improving AWS security services which include AWS Landing Zones, IAM Roles, Least Privilege Access and detecting/mitigating cloud misconfigurations, threats, and vulnerabilities.
You will be designing, building, operating, and continuously improving AWS-native security services, including (but not limited to) GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, AWS Config, Inspector, and WAF to provide strong preventive and detective security controls.
