Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain security platforms for cloud applications and pipeline security.
  • Design, develop, and configure security tooling.

  • Manage stakeholder communication and interpersonal relations at both technical and non-technical levels.
  • Conduct basic threat modeling and dynamic security testing.

  • Engage in software development at a senior developer level.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in a security tooling/SOC environment.
  • Experience with Cyber Security application within development pipelines.
  • Understanding of source control and development platforms (GitHub, ADO, etc).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of compliance standards and secure development practices.
  • Basic threat modeling and dynamic security testing experience.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Experience with Azure/AWS security configuration and security automation.
  • Knowledge of information security concepts and technologies (e.g., IDS, SIEM, SOAR).
  • Experience with SIEM toolsets, including the ELK stack.
  • Software development abilities at a senior developer level.

We are seeking for AWS Automation Security Engineer to develop and maintain security platforms, focus on cloud applications & pipeline security. Security function to design, develop, and configure security tooling. Working with a varied tech stack, AZURE, AWS, diverse SaaS tools and technology

Role Overview:
* Job Title: AWS Automation Security Engineer
* Location: England/Remote
* Contract Type: Contract - Inside IR35

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or relevant experience
* 3+ years relevant work experience
* Experience with working in a security tooling/SOC environment.
* Experience with application of Cyber Security within development pipelines.
* Understanding of source control, development platforms (GitHub, ADO, etc) and automation of deployments for tooling.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with Stakeholder management and interpersonal skills at both a technical and non-technical level
* Is able to not only understand Software Development but identify and implement the necessary security controls a developer would not have the knowledge and skills to execute
* Working knowledge of compliance standards.
* With working knowledge of secure development practices and standards.
* Basic Threat Modelling and dynamic security testing experience.
* Experience with Scripting (eg python, bash, etc) essential.
