Summary: The role of AWS Solution Architect involves providing technical assistance to tenant accounts within an AWS Organisation for a major government/policing project. The position requires SC and NPPV3 clearance and is fully remote. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AWS solutions architecture and relevant technical skills. This position is critical for enabling tenants to effectively host and expose their applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to tenant accounts of an AWS Organisation.
- Help tenants understand the organisation and associated accounts.
- Enable tenants to host and expose their applications and services through the organisation's gateways.
Key Skills:
- AWS Certified (Associate required, Professional preferred).
- Experience in Solutions Architecture in an AWS environment.
- Knowledge of VPC, Networking, Routing, Transit Gateway, IAM Policies, Gateways/Interface Endpoints.
- Good knowledge of Firewall, Gateway, Proxy patterns.
- Understanding of TLS connectivity and CA/Certificate management/use.
- Knowledge of patch management and pipeline build tools (preferably GitLab).
- Good presenter with experience of governance boards.
- Familiarity with Landing Zones, Organisations, Private Link, Endpoint Services, R53/DNS, NWFW, ALB, NLB, EKS, Kubernetes, SSM, AMI, Resource Access Manager is a plus.
