Summary: The Infrastructure Engineer role focuses on managing and troubleshooting AWS infrastructure, utilizing skills in AWS, Terraform, and Python. Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily operations and troubleshooting related to cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
- Monitor, maintain, and ensure the reliability of networking components like VPCs, CloudWAN, and DNS.
- Take ownership of availability, performance, and growth of the Cloud Infrastructure.
- Consult with stakeholders to specify requirements and solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for cloud infrastructure implementation and perform design reviews.
- Build monitoring tools and scripts to ensure performance meets agreed service levels.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in Python for developing scripts and automation tools.
- Experience with Terraform for automating AWS infrastructure provisioning.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS Networking services such as VPCs, Transit Gateways, and Route 53 DNS.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and containerization technologies like Docker.
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
