Summary: The AWS IAM/PingID Specialist role involves managing user identities and access permissions using IAM tools, with a focus on security and compliance. The position requires active SC clearance and is offered on a remote basis for an initial 4-month contract. The specialist will work closely with the Lead Security Architect to ensure secure configurations and compliance with security standards. The role also includes automating IAM tasks and providing training to users on IAM policies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertise in using and configuring IAM tools such as Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, SailPoint, and AWS Identity.
- Strong understanding of security principles and regulatory compliance standards (eg, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Ability to write scripts (eg, PowerShell, Python) to automate IAM tasks.
- Experience in integrated third parties and applications using industry standards (SAML/OIDC).
- Diagnose and resolve access issues, analyze security incidents, and perform audits of IAM systems.
- Deploy PING ID and AWS Identity in collaboration with the Lead Security Architect.
- Automate and manage user account creation, updates, and removals across systems.
- Establish and enforce policies for user access based on job roles.
- Implement and manage multi-factor authentication (MFA) and single sign-on (SSO).
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enforce security policies for identity and access management.
- Define and manage roles and permissions for access control.
- Integrate IAM solutions with other IT systems for streamlined identity management.
- Provide training and support to SOC Analyst users on IAM policies and tools.
Key Skills:
- Technical proficiency in IAM tools (Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, SailPoint, AWS Identity).
- Knowledge of security principles and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
