Summary: The role of Full Stack Developer (AWS) focuses on delivering scalable cloud-based applications for a high-profile public sector programme. This position is remote-first with occasional travel for team meetings and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, utilizing AWS cloud services. The contract is for 6 months with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications in a cloud-native environment.
- Build responsive and user-friendly Front End solutions using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Develop and integrate Back End services and APIs.
- Work within AWS environments, leveraging cloud services to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to solution design, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Ensure applications meet security, performance, and accessibility standards.
- Support Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Strong commercial experience with AWS cloud services.
- Solid Front End development experience using JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of modern software development practices, including CI/CD and version control.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Previous Public Sector project experience.
