Summary: The role of SC Cleared AWS Engineer involves designing and implementing observability solutions using Dynatrace to enhance the reliability and performance of cloud platforms. The engineer will be responsible for integrating monitoring into CI/CD pipelines and driving best practices across engineering teams. This position requires a strong background in AWS and observability tooling, along with excellent communication skills. The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site requirements in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement full-stack observability solutions using Dynatrace
- Build dashboards, alerts and automated insights to improve system reliability
- Integrate monitoring into CI/CD pipelines and automate agent deployment
- Support IaC automation using Terraform, Ansible, and Scripting tools
- Analyse performance metrics, conduct incident investigations, and optimise system performance

We're looking for an experienced senior AWS Platform Engineer with deep expertise in observability, particularly using Dynatrace, to help us build reliable, scalable and high-performing platforms. You'll play a key role in shaping our monitoring strategy, embedding best-in-class observability across cloud infrastructure and applications.
