AWS Engineer - Cloud (Remote)
Summary: The AWS Engineer role is a contract position focused on designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure for high-traffic applications. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy for automated deployments.
- Monitor system performance using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to AWS services, networking, and security configurations.
- Document infrastructure, processes, and best practices for team knowledge sharing and compliance.
Key Skills:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes on AWS.
