Summary: This role is for an AWS DevOps Engineer focused on enhancing CI/CD pipelines and automating cloud infrastructure in a fully remote setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, and provision cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, reliable environments.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery.
- Manage containerized environments with Docker; introduce/operate Kubernetes as scale requires.
- Embed security by design (IAM, encryption, network segmentation) in all deployments.
- Implement monitoring and observability to ensure system health and reliability.
- Support database operations, including scaling, backups, and recovery (e.g., MS-SQL).
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 5 years of hands-on cloud experience in production environments (AWS preferred).
- Deep experience with Docker and containerization workflows; Kubernetes knowledge.
- Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Argo CD, Jenkins, GitLab Runner).
- Strong scripting in Bash and/or Python.
- Experience supporting MS-SQL or similar databases.
- Solid understanding of security fundamentals and access management (IAM, encryption, network segmentation).
