AWS DevOps Engineer | Remote | Inside IR35 | 4 Months+Overview:Join our customers Infrastructure team as an AWS DevOps Engineer, playing a pivotal role in delivering cloud-based solutions across the business. You will focus on building a centralised CI/CD pipeline, alongside leading significant migration projects to enhance our cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, build, and optimise a centralised CI/CD pipeline to streamline deployment processes across various environments.Cloud Migration: Lead the migration of services and applications to AWS, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.Automation & Scripting: Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform. Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce errors.Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of cloud services.Essential Skills:AWS DevOps Expertise: Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and extensive experience with cloud migrations and DevOps practices.Configuration Management: Strong proficiency in Puppet (preferred), Chef, or Ansible for managing and automating infrastructure.Scripting & Automation: Advanced skills in Python and experience with AWS Lambda for serverless computing and automation.Containerisation: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.Desirable Skills:Azure DevOps: Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories.Networking & Security: Knowledge of VPC design, security groups, IAM roles, and encryption methods to secure cloud environments.CI/CD Tools: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools for managing continuous integration and delivery.Financial Services Experience: Previous experience working within the financial services sector is highly valued.Should your skills match the above, please apply.
