Summary: The Senior AWS Developer role involves leading the development of a greenfield product for a major international brand, focusing on cloud-native architectures using AWS. The position requires advanced Python programming skills and offers the opportunity to mentor junior developers while working in an agile team. Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing cloud-native architectures using the AWS ecosystem
- Leading development of a greenfield product from the ground up
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and shape technical direction
- Mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of clean code and continuous improvement
- Working as part of a close-knit, agile team with a high degree of autonomy
Key Skills:
- Advanced Python development experience
- Strong hands-on skills with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions
- Experience with SQS, SNS, S3, EventBridge, API Gateway, and related services
- Confident with RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred), IAM, CloudWatch, and Git-based workflows
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
