Summary: Our client, a global consulting firm, is seeking a Data Engineer for a contract role focused on a project in the BioTech/Pharma sector. The position requires expertise in DynamoDB and AWS services, with a flexible day rate offered. The role is fully remote and initially set for a duration of six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing DynamoDB tables, including GSIs, capacity planning, and Streams
- Utilizing Python with libraries such as pandas and boto3 for ELT processes
- Implementing and managing AWS services effectively
- Creating dashboards using AWS QuickSight
- Working with NoSQL databases
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with DynamoDB table design, GSIs, capacity planning, and Streams
- Proficiency in Python, with pandas, boto3 or similar libraries for ELT
- Strong AWS Services experience
- AWS QuickSight experience for dashboard design
- NoSQL experience
