Summary: The AWS Connect Engineer role involves designing and optimizing Amazon Connect contact flows and integrating them with enterprise telephony systems. The position requires extensive experience in backend application development and API management, with a focus on enhancing contact center operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize Amazon Connect contact flows and call routing solutions.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Amazon Connect and enterprise telephony systems, including Cisco and AT&T environments.
  • Develop and support backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain APIs to support contact center operations and business processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to call routing, integrations, and application performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Skills:

  • 15+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
  • Expertise in designing and managing Contact Flows, routing strategies, and integrations.
  • Strong Java development experience, including Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and related cloud technologies.
  • Experience integrating Amazon Connect with Cisco and/or AT&T environments.
