Summary: The AWS Connect Engineer role involves designing and optimizing Amazon Connect contact flows and integrating them with enterprise telephony systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize Amazon Connect contact flows and call routing solutions.
- Build and maintain integrations between Amazon Connect and enterprise telephony systems, including Cisco and AT&T environments.
- Develop and support backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Create, enhance, and maintain APIs to support contact center operations and business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to call routing, integrations, and application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on application modernization and cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Skills:
- 15+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Connect.
- Expertise in designing and managing Contact Flows, routing strategies, and integrations.
- Strong Java development experience, including Core Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and related cloud technologies.
