AWS Cloud Security Engineer - Remote

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience with broad knowledge of:
• IT architecture and infrastructure setup and management
• Operating systems and databases
• Enterprise applications
• Networking and cloud implementations
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure components, including compute, storage, networking, security, data, and applications.
• Experience implementing and maintaining AWS security controls and configurations.
• Familiarity with AWS security monitoring services, including GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudWatch, and SIEM tools.
• Experience with AWS IAM administration, access control, roles, and permissions.
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and remediation using AWS Inspector or similar security tools.
• Understanding of cloud security governance, compliance, audit processes, and security assessments.
• Familiarity with AWS Config, configuration rules, security policies, and governance controls.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
