AWS Cloud Engineer (W2 Position)

Summary: The AWS Cloud Engineer role is a remote position requiring extensive experience in designing and deploying cloud-native applications on AWS. Key Responsibilities:

• Need 7 years of experience as a AWS Cloud Engineer
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and scaling cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cost optimization strategies, including reserved instances, savings plans, and workload right-sizing.
• Expertise in autoscaling, load balancing, and high-availability architecture across regions and zones.
• Experience in migrating workloads from on-prem or other clouds to AWS.
• Ability to evaluate and tune performance of compute, storage, and database layers.
• Good understanding of security best practices and disaster recovery planning.
• Excellent communication skills for working with both technical and business teams.

Key Skills:

• Experience with EKS, ECS, Lambda, and serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with FinOps practices for ongoing cost governance.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
