AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Architect to design, implement, and lead scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, cloud architecture, automation, security, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, highly available, and secure AWS cloud solutions.
• Develop cloud architecture strategies aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Lead AWS migration, modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Design and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or similar tools.
• Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, networking, monitoring, and compliance best practices.
• Design disaster recovery, backup, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
• Optimize AWS environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture documentation, and guidance to development teams.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure and production issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT/cloud infrastructure.
• 7+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong expertise in AWS Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience with AWS networking, VPC, IAM, security, and monitoring.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security and governance.
• Experience with AWS migration and modernization projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
