AWS Architect - SC Cleared - 12 Months - Remote First

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction across complex technology programmes.
• Own and support architecture decision-making, technical governance, prioritisation and stakeholder engagement.
• Produce and maintain technical architecture documentation, patterns and standards using Sparx Enterprise Architect, ArchiMate, C4, UML, Mermaid and Gliffy.
• Design and assess highly available, resilient and scalable architecture patterns.
• Provide architectural oversight across data management, integration, cloud, security and infrastructure.
• Define and maintain approaches to data standards, data quality, data governance, data lineage/provenance, schemas and data life cycle.
• Design and document integration architectures, including ICDs, REST APIs, authentication, authorisation and service integrations.
• Work extensively with AWS, including Aurora PostgreSQL, EKS, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Kafka, Schema Registry and S3.
• Support DevOps and automation, including Infrastructure as Code and automated testing.
• Provide architectural oversight of PKI and certificate management, including AWS Private Certificate Authority and Certificate Manager.
• Ensure solutions align with Zero Trust, least privilege and risk management principles within highly regulated environments.
• Design authentication and authorisation solutions using Keycloak, JWT, OIDC, AWS IAM and RBAC/ABAC.
• Ensure appropriate approaches to logging, monitoring, protective monitoring, health checks and audit.
• Work with development and delivery teams using Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, GitHub and DataML.
