Summary: The AWS Application Developer/Architect role at Lucid Support Services involves developing and deploying mobile applications using Flutter and AWS Lambda for a multi-million-pound project. The position requires expertise in full-stack app development and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure application performance and security. This is an urgent requirement with an immediate start, initially for a few weeks, leading to a longer-term project. The role is remote and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy mobile applications using Flutter for both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Design and implement serverless Back End solutions using AWS Lambda and other AWS services (API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and provide technical solutions.
  • Build and maintain cloud-based microservices to support mobile applications.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments.
  • Ensure application security and data privacy by implementing best practices for secure cloud applications.
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs into the mobile application and Back End.
  • Continuously explore new technologies and suggest improvements to current processes and systems.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience developing mobile applications using Flutter (Dart).
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and others.
  • Experience with serverless application development and deployment using AWS Lambda.
  • Proficient in Back End development with experience in building scalable, high-performance APIs.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure management, monitoring, and logging tools.
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and cloud-based authentication methods.
  • Strong understanding of mobile development best practices and principles.
  • Experience with unit testing, code reviews, and agile development practices.
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
