Summary: The Automation Tester role involves working on significant public sector projects within a collaborative Agile delivery team. The position focuses on designing, building, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital services. The role requires strong technical skills in automation and testing, along with active SC clearance or eligibility. This is a fully remote position with a day rate of £400 inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks.
- Execute functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and delivery teams.
- Ensure solutions meet Government Digital Service (GDS) accessibility and quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and automation processes.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Java and Selenium WebDriver.
- API testing using Postman and REST services.
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
- Version control using Git (GitHub or GitLab).
- Knowledge of accessibility testing and GDS standards.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Active SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC Clearance.
