Automation Tester Contract - Active SC Need

Summary: Our client, a top-tier consultancy, is seeking an Automation Tester with Active SC clearance for a 6-month contract. The role involves developing automated test scripts, designing test frameworks, and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation testing within Agile teams and proficiency in Python. This position is fully remote and requires active security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python
• Design and implement test frameworks for API, UI, and Back End components
• Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Carry out functional, regression, and integration testing across services
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Create test plans, test cases, and detailed defect reports
• Use version control (eg, Git) and issue tracking tools (eg, Jira)
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve test coverage and efficiency

Key Skills:

• Proven experience in Automation Testing within Agile teams
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for test Scripting
• Experience with Selenium, Pytest, Behave, or similar tools
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with API testing tools (eg, Postman, REST-assured)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Active SC Clearance is essential
