Summary: Our client, a global consultancy, is seeking an Automation QA/Test Engineer for a contract role. The position requires strong expertise in Cypress for automated UI and API testing, along with JavaScript/TypeScript experience. The contract is set to run until the end of May 2026 and is fully remote within the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct automated UI and API testing using Cypress.
  • Develop test automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Test React applications from a quality assurance perspective.
  • Create back-end validation scripts and test cases for Python/Django services.
  • Utilize any experience in the Real Estate/Mortgage industry as applicable.

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience with Cypress (Automated UI & API Testing).
  • JavaScript/TypeScript test automation experience.
  • Exposure to React applications from a testing perspective.
  • Any Real Estate/Mortgage Industry experience nice to have.
  • Ideally some experience creating Back End validation scripts and test cases for Python/Django services.

Our client are a global consultancy, they are on the lookout for an Automation QA/Test Engineer to come in on a contract basis.

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Cypress (Automated UI & API Testing)
  • JavaScript/TypeScript test automation experience
  • Exposure to React applications from a testing perspective
  • Any Real Estate/Mortgage Industry experience nice to have
  • Ideally some experience creating Back End validation scripts and test cases for Python/Django services

Contract is running until the end of May 2026 initially, open to expectations on day rate (Inside IR35 via Umbrella) and will be fully remote in the UK.
