Summary: Our client, a global consultancy, is seeking an Automation QA/Test Engineer for a contract role. The position requires strong expertise in Cypress for automated UI and API testing, along with JavaScript/TypeScript experience. The contract is set to run until the end of May 2026 and is fully remote within the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct automated UI and API testing using Cypress.
- Develop test automation scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Test React applications from a quality assurance perspective.
- Create back-end validation scripts and test cases for Python/Django services.
- Utilize any experience in the Real Estate/Mortgage industry as applicable.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with Cypress (Automated UI & API Testing).
- JavaScript/TypeScript test automation experience.
- Exposure to React applications from a testing perspective.
- Any Real Estate/Mortgage Industry experience nice to have.
- Ideally some experience creating Back End validation scripts and test cases for Python/Django services.
