Automation Test Lead

Summary: The Automation Test Lead role involves designing and implementing automation test strategies and frameworks to align with business goals. The position requires expertise in Tricentis Tosca and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to Frimley and is open only to candidates with active security clearance. The contract duration is for 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement effective automation test strategies and frameworks aligned with business goals.
• Experience creating or adapting automation frameworks.
• Subject matter expert in the development and maintenance of automated test solutions using Tricentis Tosca.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, testers, analysts, and architects to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align testing efforts with business objectives.
• Contribute to the evolution of automation testing practices.

Key Skills:

• Expert in Tricentis Tosca automation tooling.
• Experience in at least one OOP language (Java, C#).
• Experience with Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with functional and automation testing across web and API platforms and ERP systems e.g. SAP S4/Hana.
• Familiarity with test management tools (Jira).
• ISTQB Foundation certification (or willingness to obtain it with company support).
• Experience in continuous testing and test optimization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align testing efforts with business objectives.

Salary (Rate): £480 daily
