Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain advanced n8n workflows for automations across various platforms.
- Work with APIs, webhooks, data transformations, conditionals, and custom variables in n8n.
- Collaborate with AI and digital teams to design and implement smart automations for clients.
- Optimize workflows for performance, error handling, and maintainability.
- Document flows, logic, and configuration for internal reuse and client understanding.
- Shape Atomic Digital AI’s automation offerings and technical infrastructure.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience building and managing complex workflows in n8n.
- Strong grasp of API integrations, JSON formatting, webhook logic, and automation architecture.
- Working knowledge of marketing platforms like HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Sheets, and Airtable.
- Comfort with integrating AI tools and APIs such as OpenAI, ChatGPT, and Claude.
- Familiarity with Make.com, Zapier, Pipedream, Node.js, or Python is a bonus.

To support this growth, we’re hiring a skilled n8n Automation Specialist to lead the development of smart, scalable, API-connected workflows across marketing, operations, and AI integrations. This is a hands-on technical role with strategic impact — ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to build systems that solve real business problems.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain advanced n8n workflows to power automations across lead gen, CRMs, email systems, Slack/Notion, marketing ops, AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) and more.
- Work with APIs, webhooks, data transformations, conditionals, and custom variables in n8n to create efficient, low-friction workflows.
- Collaborate with our AI and digital teams to design and implement smart automations for clients across multiple sectors.
- Optimise workflows for performance, error handling, and maintainability.
- Document flows, logic, and configuration to support internal reuse and client understanding.
- Play a key role in shaping Atomic Digital AI’s automation offerings and technical infrastructure.
Requirements
- Proven experience building and managing complex workflows in n8n (Cloud or self-hosted).
- Strong grasp of API integrations, JSON formatting, webhook logic, conditional flows, and automation architecture.
- Working knowledge of marketing platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Sheets, Airtable) and how they connect via n8n.
- Comfort with integrating AI tools and APIs (e.g. OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude, Google PaLM) into automation pipelines.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Make.com, Zapier, Pipedream, Node.js, or Python for custom extensions.
- Clear communication and documentation skills — able to explain both simple and complex automation logic to non-technical teams.
