Summary: The Automation Engineer role involves developing and implementing automation solutions for robotic logistics systems, including programming PLC systems and robot controllers. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure the integration of mechanical and control systems, as well as support for testing and troubleshooting on-site. The engineer will deliver reliable automation systems tailored for food, pharmaceutical, and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement automation solutions for robotic logistics systems
- Program and configure PLC systems and/or robot controllers (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)
- Contribute to electrical design and integration of automated installations
- Work on systems including palletizing, depalletizing, storage, and material handling
- Ensure integration between mechanical systems (conveyors, handling) and control systems
- Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting on-site
- Collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and project teams
- Deliver reliable and efficient automation systems for food, pharma, and industrial environments
Key Skills:
- Experience with automation solutions and robotic logistics systems
- Proficiency in programming PLC systems and robot controllers
- Knowledge of electrical design and integration
- Familiarity with mechanical systems and control systems integration
- Ability to support testing and troubleshooting on-site
