Summary: The Automation (Python) Developer role at World Wide Technology involves assisting with the migration of multi-tenanted network services onto a new platform. The position focuses on enhancing automation capabilities to improve the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and developing reusable infrastructure automation patterns. This is a contract position with a duration of 6 months, primarily remote, and classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the migration of multi-tenanted network services onto a new platform.
- Contribute to the automation of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process.
- Build automation capabilities for testing against infrastructure.
- Develop reusable infrastructure automation patterns for a holistic automation approach.
Key Skills:
- Excellent coding ability in Python.
- Experience with Jinja2 and Ansible.
- Proficiency in JSON/XML APIs.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipeline delivery.
- Experience deploying and testing infrastructure as code.
- Desirable experience in Networking.
